Snack Time & Packed Lunches

Snack Time:

Jelly Tots: We encourage the children to bring in a piece of fruit or vegetable to share with the group at snack time. This will also support their independence, make choices and try new foods.

Jelly Beans: Can bring in a piece of fruit or snack in a clearly labelled bag/box to have a snack time.

*We are a nut free setting, please do not provide your child with any nuts/nut based snacks (i.e. chocolate spread, peanut butter, cereal bars etc...)

We ask that grapes, large blueberries, cherry tomatoes, olives, mini sausages etc.. are cut into quarters (length ways), this is to avoid any chance of choking.
*Please do not provide popcorn in their snack and/or packed lunch

Please make sure that snack pots/bags are clearly named.

Packed Lunch:

We ask that parents provide a healthy nutritious packed lunch for their child when they stay for lunch club. We do not allow sweets or fizzy drinks and discourage parents from supplying chocolate bars etc... as we try and encourage as much healthy eating as possible. If you are supplying grapes, cherries, strawberries, mini sausages etc... please ensure they are cut into quarters as per the health and safety regulations.

Water bottles:

We ask that each child brings in a clearly named water bottle to ensure they can drink freely throughout the session.
